ASIAN LAW STUDENTS' ASSOCIATION
LOCAL CHAPTER UNIVERSITAS UDAYANA
Together as One, One Team, One Dream, One Family.
ALSA, Always be One!

History of ALSA
The ASEAN Law Students' Association was established in 1989 composed of the member countries Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. In 2002, they came to the idea of extending its scope of membership in order to enhance the achievement of its objective. At the Asian Forum held in Japan after the Korean Conference, the Tokyo Agreement was signed, marking the merging of the ASEAN Law Students’ Association, the International Law Students’ Association of Peking University, the Law Association, Hong Kong University Students’ Union (LA, HKUSU), ALSA Japan, ALSA Korea, and ALSA Taiwan into a single association we know today. ALSA has grown and improved to be a professional, non-political, non-profit organization as the place for its members to excel in their legal skills, critical minds, communication, and connection. As an organization that includes 18 National Chapters, ALSA has been a place for culture fusion throughout Asia. ALSA Indonesia as a National Chapter and a home for its 15 Local Chapter, continues to grow and set examples on how law students should be prepared to fit in the global area.

GREETINGS
Om Swastyastu,
Assalamualaikum Wr. Wb.,

Namo Buddhaya,
May Peace be Upon Us All,
Warm greetings to all distinguished guests and visitors.
With deepest gratitude to Almighty God for His grace and guidance, we continue our commitment to developing the Asian Law Students’ Association (ALSA) as a non-profit and non-political organization that fosters strong linkages among law students across Asia.
The ALSA Local Chapter of Universitas Udayana (ALSA LC Unud), as one of the 15 Local Chapters under ALSA National Chapter Indonesia, has consistently demonstrated its dedication to organizational growth since its establishment in 2012. Guided by ALSA’s four fundamental pillars, Legally Skilled, Academically Committed, Internationally Minded, and Socially Responsible, we strive to position ALSA LC Unud as a progressive and impactful forum for future legal professionals.
Entering the 2025–2026 period, ALSA LC Unud is guided by the vision of “SOAR.” This vision reflects our collective aspiration to continuously grow, evolve, and elevate ALSA LC Unud into an adaptive, efficient, and sustainable organization. To realize this vision, we are committed to strengthening member development through sound organizational governance, optimizing organizational values and working systems to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, fostering ALSA LC Unud as a resilient and responsive organization that adapts to the dynamics of the times while upholding its core values and culture, and achieving sustainable development that delivers broad and meaningful impact.
We firmly believe that sustainable progress can only be achieved through the active support and cooperation of all stakeholders. Therefore, we warmly invite all parties to participate and collaborate with us in advancing ALSA LC Unud toward greater achievements.
It is our honor to present the Official Website of ALSA Local Chapter Universitas Udayana for the 2025–2026 term. We hope this platform serves as a reliable source of information and a meaningful representation of our values, activities, and aspirations.
